How can the church use Evolution?

I was talking with a good friend the other day; he wants to be a pastor, and we.. Like always were discussing religion (I try to convince him its all a joke, and he tries to get me to go to church) lol

But anyway, he is aware that Evolution is not false, man and all on the planet have evolved, and therefore has some merit…but this is the problem.

How does the church use Evolution for there own good? or can they?

We think it’s inevitable that they will…but we were unable to see how

do you have any thoughts?

either they can`t and thats why they dont use it now, or they just dont want to thats one problem the chruch as they dont like change in any way ..

I imagine they will do as they always have done, anything bad will be ascribed to the "testing of the faithful" - anything good will be an example of the "bountiful nature of God" - this way they cannot loose - its so neat it makes me wanna puke.

Preacher comes upon a girl playing with a box holding a litter of new-born kittens inside. What kind of kittens are those? he asked.

They're Christian kittens, she said. He left pleased she had Jesus in her thoughts.

Days later he saw her again. How are your Christian kittens doing? he asked.

Oh, they aren't Christian kittens, they're Atheist, she replied.

I thought they were Christian kittens. said the preacher.




She said - Oh, they were. But now their eyes are open!

Actually some christian have gotten together...and worked out a story for evolution to fit into christian fantasies....nearby where I live...they have built what is called
"The Creation Museum".

It presents their explanations in all its glory.....one display shows a caveman riding a dinosaur.

Actually, I have convince some christian friends that my theories about our space origins fit into the biblical story and evolution , because they do.

Organised religion is politics. The Bible, the Koran, etc are just ways of controlling the masses.

Henry VIII did this country a favour, he dis-established the Catholic church. Before that it ruled Europe with a heavy hand. They didn't like it, they lost their power.

I have very direct views on religion. The Bible states that every man is a church, it despises wealth, yet the Catholic church is one of the richest organisations in the world. You have people living in poverty a stone's throw from the Vatican, full of of the most ornate gold you can imagine!

Women played an important part in early Christianity, yet some centuries ago they were written out of the story. They became 2nd class.

It's all politics, changed to suit the mood of the day.

I'm free, I'm an aethiest, and probably more caring than any of these hate-mongers who whip people in the streets, make them feel guilty for what is a natural act, all in the name of their god!!
