I also have the same problem, I have a crush with one guy in my office. He is so cute.
But I am not sure if he's gay or not. Does anyone here think that if someone wear a checkered pants (like those golf pants) to office means that you're gay ?
Also, is dating your office mate a good idea anyway ?

I've heard that the 3 second stare is a true indication if someone fancies you (male or female)..If you have strong unflinching eye contact with a stranger for more than 3 seconds it's said to be highly flirtatious and revealing. I've tried it a few times but everyone just looks away, then spits on the floor in disgust like I'm some kind of perv..which of coarse I am but that's another issue.

I can pretty much tell if a guy is gay and its not subjected by the stereotypical signs that are usually brought up. My gaydar is pretty much intact. Awhile ago, there was a very handsome guy that had worked at one of the neighborhood restaurants, and even though he did not display the usual signs, I could tell by his body language and my reliable gaydar that there was something about mary..lol..just kidding with the mary part..but I guess what really confirmed things were not too long ago, I was in the restaurant, and I caught him staring at my crotch ..several times during my time at the place..lol

Not all of them will behave that way JW, I remember once when I was with an ex, my friend and his buddies, it was raining but I didnt want to go home, so the ex left, a few minutes later my friend's buddy(that I found out later was his cousin) asked me about the guy that left(We never acted as a couple), if he didnt ask about him and about my... situation, I would've never guessed, he was hitting on girls and being a "boy" with the others b4 that and when I noticed he was already all over me.

sometimes its quite easy to know, but i think, the better way to make sure of it, is to get to know him quite a bit, then u will b able to know for sure if he is or he is not bi or gay

Rawr, but would be such a waste of time to get to know the guy and turns out he's only interesting on the outside or that he isnt even gay/bi... Better to just to go for it while u have a escape plan prepared just in case xD. After all, if he's someone close to u or ur friends is easier than to get to know the random guy from yesterday's party.

I too have the same problem or same trouble. i hate when the cutest guys act gay in public and things like that around their friends. and then when you get them away from their friends they are straight as a pin. Sometimes i think the best way to figure out if a guy is gay or not is to quietly get them away from their friends. hang out with them maybe go to a local book store or coffee joint and just kick it. and see where things go from their but don't move too fast.

I believe the eyes give it away every time, pay attention to who they are looking at & how long. I am typically oblivious to females but am fully aware of most every manbeast. I'll see a woman but I will LOOK AT(up, down & around) a man. If you get the chance to track his eyes, that may be helpful.

I second Puddlefoot. Observe whom he is looking at and how good looking his guy friends are. The eyes giveth away. P
