There seem to be a lot of new threads here at the moment that give the impression the thread starter was terminally bored, and this is one of them.

How do I feel about the forum? What kind of question is that? I may have one or two minor criticisms, but clearly I don't hate it, otherwise I would not be here. Is there some particular aspect of the forum you wanted to discuss? Some particular criticism you have? Be more explicit please.

I think this generally feels like a nice friendly place. Like with all things, I occasionally have the odd quibble, but that's about as bad as it gets.

"Quibble" is one of those words that means something entirely different from what it appears it SHOULD mean. When I see "quibble" I think of "quick nibble", as in a snack.

"I need to get back to work soon, no time for us to have a proper lunch, we've just got time for a quibble".

I think Gay Heaven is fantastic! So many friendly, helpful people, very little negativity and stress compared to every other forum I've been on.

The administrators are terrific (Voyager, specifically :thumbs up: ). Extremely fast and courteous responses to questions, and just so helpful in every way. I was quite shocked, because I've never experienced that on an internet forum before.


My only complaint isn't about the forum itself, but just that so many members use Oron and don't have any alternate links. I hate their limits for free users, and I attempted to purchase a premium membership with bad results (and had my credit card canceled and an new one issued because I didn't trust them with my information since they didn't follow through appropriately on that transaction). There was another forum that had some nice members and downloads, but then they pushed to get everyone using Oron, so it wasn't worthwhile to even bother with that site anymore (one of the moderators said that the owners of Oron bought the forum, and that's why they forced Oron down everyone's throats ). The only time I'll bother with Oron downloads is if the content is something truly special, and it is broken into a minimal number of files. I'm sorry, but it shouldn't take more than three days to get a movie, even for a free user (I have premium memberships with a few different services, such as hotfile, fileserve, megaupload, and rapidshare, but I tried them all out as a free user first. I figured if they could make the experience quick and painless for a free user, it should be a great service for a premium user).

I read so many complaints about Oron, it amazes me that they still seem relatively popular. :?

:rofl: I love your new definition for quibble! I'll have to remember to use that on Monday to confuse my boss! (I never really have time for a proper lunch at work, so a quibble will have to do. :cheers: )

ITA. I think Gayheaven is very enjoyable. I like that there are so many discussion topics here in addition to the porn. I like having opinions and hearing other's opinions too.

I enjoy the site very much. It is one of very few websites I actually have on my favorites (other than bills I pay online). Without this site I would be stuck playing online games all the time and they bore me.
