It depends on many things, mostly the studio and where they are located.

American studios like Sean Cody, Corbin Fisher, CH1 etc. sometimes pay over $5,000 USD per scene.

While others in less economically developed areas such as Eastern Europe and South America may pay as little as $100-$150 USD per scene. But that's still more than many of them would make in an entire month at a regular job...

AT the high end are studios like Broke Straight Boys and similar ones who will pay up to $2,000 for a str8 dude to bend over and get fucked on cam. THere are the special named studios (William Higgins, Corbin Fisher and others) who will research and find models with their specific look and style, and those guys might get thousands of dollars plus airfare and accommodation during the shoot.

The low end is $100-$200 for small studios using amateur twinks who show up with a dick and an ass and nothing fancy in their looks. Mind you, a package that works and a butt that takes it are all that's needed for most produced videos.P

parties, advertisements

Well, America is one of the first countries to commercially produce gay porn and still maintains one of the worlds largest porn industry. And I don't mean to say that Americans pay more than anyone else, some of the larger studios in England, Germany and other more economically advanced countries all pay about the same. It's just that in other countries where the average wages are much lower, the porn models get paid much less.

Which is why many American and European porn producers have gone to places like South America, Eastern Europe, Asia, etc. to make movies. They can film in more exotic locales using local models for a fraction of the cost of producing in their home countries and then sell them in their home market for a much larger profit.

This is what William Higgins and Bel Ami did, but they have become victims of their own success. Their formula worked so well that many of their models became stars and now command higher wages and their customers started wanting more of the same along with bigger and better productions.
