How to manage the order of posts in a Thread?

Hi guys!

I would like to is there a way I re-organize the orders of the posts inside a thread that I have started?

I am making a new presentation of this thread http://www.gayheaven.org/showthread.php?p=444503#post444503 because it becomes a very huge unique post, and becomes very difficult to update.
So I separate it between a introducing post (The original huge one, that I will rewrite as soon as I have finished with the new presentation) and a new post for each letters of the alphabet.
The problem is : between some letters, there's some congratulating posts that i would put at the end of the new presentation.

Do I ask to a moderator, or an administrator? Can I do it by myself if i have the "VIP" Status ?

Hi Shapeshifter.... Well a Mod could edit the thread for you... BUT the next time a member leaves a new comment you will have the same situation... If I were you I wouldn't worry too much, members will scroll through the thread to find what they are looking for.

Either I or another staff member can remove the comments after you've completed the post

OR

Alternatively create a post for every letter and just put a holding message in each. You can then edit each post as you go along and any new comments will all appear after the Z (if you have a Z ) I can remove the existing comments for you if you'd like to do it this way.
