Sadly they're scripted, like most reality shows. There's a bit of improv, I'm sure, but not 100% impromptu. I remember when I first saw Ba1tBu5 porn, I totally thought it was real. I guess the acting was that good or I was just that naïve. Porn is supposed to be fantasy. For Baitbus, yes, it's obviously scripted.
For Czech Hunter, I think it's more subtle. You can tell if a guy is straight or not, you can see by the way he sucks dick if he ever did it or not, you can't fake that. Even the fucking, you can tell if a guy ever had a dick in his ass before. Some of the Czech Hunter boys were professional actors, some were real straight guys.
I've always wondered how much those vids are scripted. I'm sure the whole "I just stumble on a twink in the street" is fake, not sure the négociation after is totally fake.

Before filming guys must sign doents that they are of legal age and agree to be filmed. A copy of their identification (pasport etc) must be made. A studio or a legal representative of the studio must keep these records on file.

Guys participating in CH must have a recent STD test.


So it is not that the guys are 'innocent victims'. They know what they are getting into. Some work as male prostitutes in the Czech Republic, some want to be in the porn industry and think CH can give them an opportunity (some guys can later be seen with studios like WH). Some are naive and later regret it (something many Czech gay porn studios are familiar with, including BA). Some just need money.

For me CH has become rather bland (but I still watch it!). Because of EU rules you can't film other people without their consent or if you do you must make their faces unrecognizable. The consequence is that it is difficult to film in places where a lot of other people are (train station, shopping mall, busy street). So CH films in places like remote village roads or derelict buildings. The 'real feel' of the early CH episodes is gone.
