This is what my "posting rules" says. Noticed it when trying to add some photos to my "show yourself off" thread. I've checked the announcements section and there's nothing about disabling the function. Is it an error?

No, this was disabled for technical reasons a short while ago.

You can upload via the quick Pimp & Host link, or simply host them in any hosting account.

The attachments were slowing the forum functions down and they eventually build up over time. If we can reinstate them sometime we will, but for now try one of the other options

Yikes - that's not without side effects!

The massive difference between pimp & host etc and attachments is that attachments are only visible to logged in users, while stuff on P&H is visible to the world - I only felt comfortable sharing my pics as attachments, I'd never have done it had I needed to share them with the entire world!

I don't suppose they can be controlled per-board rather than per-user? Outside of the Show Yourself Off board I'm not sure they're really needed.

Just some input for the next time this comes up for review!
