i want to sleep but i cant

Dear Insomniacs,
I've experiment with what Rozas post above, it works for me most of the time. What can i say, the crack sound of thunder, the ambiance, put noisy mind to rest do try it.

Just wanted to say that the medication I use is not any kind of sleeping pills, they are meant for keep my body working as long as possible (alright, it is no secret, I have Parkinson's Disease that started when I was 27 years old). So if I was a light sleeper before all this, now... I'm sleeping my head against the mirror while putting my make-up, I have bruises on my forehead because I keep falling asleep on my computer... But a good night sleep without interruptions? What is that? Oh I just "love" my meds...

But at least I've discovered that I can sleep while standing and brushing my hair my head upside down...

I hate sleeping. I consider it as a waste of time. For many years I slept 5 hrs. max. Now I am retired I sleep about 7 hrs. I have no problems at all to fall asleep. It costs me less than 2 min. I have a very deep sleep. No storm nor thunder is able to wake me up.
