I would if somebody asked me to pray for them. I might not believe in your faith, but it's not really about me is it? I think it's about hope and goodwill and you can spread both in a number of ways.

Yes. Praying is good for the one who prays and for the one the pray is for. I tent to believe that a true pray is involving good psychic energy beneficial for both.

No, I wouldn't, because I never really pray. But I would think of them and wish them all the best in my thoughts - which is probably pretty much the same thing as praying.

I can't think what or who I would pray to as I do not believe in other beings.

As far as that goes I might as well pray to Harry Potter! about as believable any way.

I would certainly pray if asked, and would offer counsel and a friendly ear - which might do just as much good in the here-and-now.

I'd have to decline, but not in a rude way - I'd just have to explain that I don't believe so I can't because I have no one to pray to. I'd offer any practical help I could though.

There's no need to be rude to someone just because you disagree with them on religion.

I am an atheist, so praying is not my thing. But I care for people. It was years ago when I met an old lady who seemed to be in trouble. She was leaning against a wall and gasping for breath. So I asked her if she needed help. She explained to me that she had lung problems and regularly had to stop during their walks. But she was really grateful that I offered help. Yes, I would pray for you, even when I think that praying doesn't help.

I think it all depends on you definition of "pray".To some people it literally means (believing they are) communicating with their deity and asking for something. Other people use the word "pray" iin a casual sense, to just mean "hope" or "wish", which need not imply any religious stance at all, as in "I pray the server doesn't freeze up while I am typing this post".

If someone asked, would you pray for them?

im just curious, im not religious, but im not sure if i could, who would i pray too? lol

I'm an Agnostic Theist. So some basic principles of religion don't make sense. Praying being one of them, it does nothing. Action does. I was raised to pray for everything, and I grew tired of it at age 13 or so. So no, I wouldn't pray for them I would do all I could to help them at the time.

I guess I would say yes, but I wouldn't actually do it because I don't believe it would do anything. Praying is like hoping, so I would hope that they get better. And help them in whatever way (that actually benefited) them that I could.

I'd have to decline, but let them know that they do have my support and concern, for whatever that's worth to them.
