This actually happened a couple of years ago. We were forced to close all the video sections and all that remained were the discussion areas...
Some left, but many stayed and rode the storm out. We returned, bigger and better than ever...
*** I'm sure the question of why we closed the video section will be asked, so....
Long story, made short... There were legal issues with having servers located in the US, so we stopped video sharing until we were relocated to servers overseas...

Yep. Porn is not like oxygen to me, either if it exist in here or no wouldn't make any different. But I do feel sorry for members who share their porn in here, their hard work. It wont fair. But then again, how do I know their true feeling if that happen.

While the porn is still a reason to come here, it is the friendships here that make me want to stay.

But I think we would lose a lot. Most people find gay heaven looking for porn. Gradually they start becoming more active members. Without the porn, you would not have the constant new blood.

True, Tonka, that's what we found in the brief period when we had no porn.
If I remember, that's the time we started up the amateur section which has grown!
I stayed all this time for the community aspect, and that's actually what attracted me in the first place.

Tbh, I am subscribed to the studios I love and I've already got ~4Tb of the thing as it stands, so porn or lack of porn on this forum has and will never be an issue for me

Frankly I never logged in GH for the porn I was looking for a forum where I could be myself. I can get porn from my very bedroom with my husband and many other friends. I was most active in the discussion forum and that's where I belong... Porn was my job and I got sick of it, so watching it now make me sicker.

While I must admit the porn is definitely a big draw for me, there are other sites that are much better supplied with porn (no forbidden studios and a hell of a lot more posts). Still there is something entertaining about this site and I would stick around. If there were no porn it would certainly make the search function less frustrating!! Most of the porn I like is available free elsewhere and by the same posters who upload here it's really a small world.

I get my porn elsewhere. So, I guess I'd return. I still would miss the "Gay Pictures Forum", though.
Although the poll shows most would remain I think it might just be that people who frequent general discussions are here for the community and conversation. I think this poll in the porn section would have pretty much the opposite result.
