How could gay porn ever be allowed in a country where people ride Kangaroos and have koalas as back packs? :p

:)):)):)):)):))

what a crazily diverting little thread !!! :):)

let me assure you that accessing classified porn, or material on DMCA compliant sites is not illegal here in Aus

i can walk down the street from my house and access two specialist gay bookshops (or the gay section in about 6 str8 porn stores), 3 cruise clubs and a sauna.

i have also been a (sometimes voracious) porn collector since the advent of the internet, and have never had a problem, other than having to clean cum off my screen, or worse, out of the keyboard

i could write a whole essay about some of the other issues brought up here, and agree that we sometimes verge on being a nanny state, but the overall social benefit is a small annoyance compared to some other 'developed' societies that seem to just not give a fuck about the totality of their populations.

..... so go for it ... be as happy a little pornhound as you want !!!! :):)

Hello all,

I am just wondering if it is illegal to access and download gay porn in Australia. I live in Perth. any thoughts?

Thanks

As long as you avoid underage porn you should be fine.

My husband is Australian, I call him my kangaroo boy because when he jump on a dick he JUMPS lol. But no Australia isn't a nanny state. they do have strict rules regarding homosexuality but it's getting better. If it wasn't for their strict rules back in the days I would have never met my loving baby. I love you Alex, I love you to death (I know you read my comments LOL) I love you baby! So in a way I have to say Thanks Australia for being homophobes LOL You gave me the love of my life, I will be forever thankful, and we're getting back there in a month :)...well Jasmine has to see her grand pa and grand ma, she is part Australian after all and she got double citizenship.

Scandinavian ? O´Gorman ? Ok, ok, I´ll swallow anything - as long as you don´t declare your love in schwäbisch...

Pal o´me heart, as Jamie O´Neill said in At swim, two boys.

No, no schwäbisch here. Don't know exactly but that's on about 700 kilometres away from here.

But I found this (when I searched for "sounds swedish), which is really nice.

Cleanfeed bill killed

Here's a quote from thenextweb.com

Today, the Australian Federal Government has announced that it will no longer pursue the Cleanfeed, a mandatory ISP filtering program riddled with problems and ethical concerns. It has been axed, shafted, given the boot, killed off — pick a phrase, any phrase from the broad range we’ve employed to describe the best course of action for this moronic idea since it appeared five years ago.

The filter’s best friend, Senator Stephen Conroy, issued a statement to this effect today. The Minister for Broadband and Communications often provides us with fodder that would be far more hilarious if he wasn’t the Minister for Broadband and Communications, such as this 2010 gem:

“There’s a staggering number of Australians being in having their computers infected at the moment, up to 20,000… uh… can regularly be getting infected by these spams or scams, that come through the portal.”

The news that the initiative has been cancelled is just part of the story. There will be some level of filtering required from ISPs.
