It's waste of time. you know, arguments about politics in internet discussions are like paralympics - even if you win you're still retarded. I avoid it as i can cos it's waste of energy. It sucks my blood and pisses me off. Only place where it's vital to express your political opinion is poll station, by throwing your ballot into the box.

All I can say is that I have often changed my opinions from talking to people I disagree with, but respect.

Anyone who can construct a coherent argument without name calling is worth listening to IMO, and their arguments worth considering. Sometimes the result is that I become more sure about my original opinion, defending it helps me make my argument stronger, and sometimes I realise there is a gap in my argument, and I update my opinions to reflect my new, better understanding of the situation.

Maybe I'm a freak of nature, but I don't think so, because I've met similar people on this very board!

I'd like to officially inform you that I've requested deleting my profile.

Althought I used to like this forum ... It's not what it was, at least not for me.

I was considering it for awhile. And I have no doubt it's really good thing to do.

I'd like to thank for some good advices and consultations I get when I needed them especially in my early days here.

I hope 0.001% of what I've posted was useful for someone too.

Althought I used to like this forum ... It's not what it was, at least not for me.

I was considering it for awhile. And I have no doubt it's really good thing to do.

I'm wondering what happened.:/ Key phrase in such good-bye threads 'at least not for me', meaning that forums are quite static things at their core, but an individual perspective on it can alter over time.

So if this site were a road, and the members are cars, membership and overall traffic can increase or decrease, but the road stays pretty much the same?

Or..... did something change? Seems like a pretty active & friendly site to me.
