At some point in each of our lives, this happens to all of us. It's a condition known as death. Does it matter? If you're dead, nothing really matters to you anymore. Your job at that point is to act as fertilizer for the grass growing above you and as food for the multitude of tiny creatures in the ground with you. An all you can eat buffet as it were.
