Sure they have subway in NY, almost as famous as the oldest of all subways in London. But I was thinking about the Canal Street in Manchester, made famous in the original version of "Queer As Folk"...

Manchester has a very good "metrolink" of trams & light railway with over 90 stops but (I think) all on the surface...
