Lost my bff over bs

My bff won’t talk to me Anymore bc she has a side person with her boyfriend wich is fine but she got mad at me , and I would talk to her kids and her family members . And now they won’t talk to me either bc she bad mouth me I’m like she the bitch not me . Long story I’m so sad

And she the one that always says she likes to tell the truth

I hate her boyfriend so she can cheat on him I don’t care

I’m shutting up now

I am so sorry you lost a good friend. Boyfriend(s) can throw a wrench in relationships and conflicting loyalties and new plans and goals can leave you on the sidelines. This can hurt bad.

Some advice:

1. Don't write her off yet. This could be temporary insanity. Make sure she knows that you are sorry for any boundaries that you have crossed that might have hurt her and leave the door open for when she needs a friend in the future.

2. Move on. This is not contradictory advice. You should do both. If she wants you as a friend in the future she is going to have to catch up to where you are going because you are moving forward without her. Invest in your other friends. Go do things where you can meet other people. Make that risky choice to do something you have thought about doing for a long time. Your story goes on.

Emotionally, this is the equivalent of being dumped and can hurt just as much - especially when it feels like years of history and memories going down the drain. It is a big loss, and don't let anyone minimize it.
