may I please ask if somebody can tell me the download conditions for free users at lumfile, especially as the FREE-download option is one of the main GH-rules.

Neither in their FAQs nor in their TOS/AGB (Terms of Service) you will find a hint although it seems to be a more and more common praxis of crappy hosts only "informing" downloaders about their paying-options buying PREMIUM and that's it.



With different browsers + cleaning Cache/Cookies no way to dl a single file from LF since days.

LumFile should be added to the watch list re. banned hosts.

2.3. All filehosts for downloading of videos must also provide an option for the user to download it freely (i.e., not requiring a membership in order to download). Also, no external software must have to be utilized to download.

Having a unique Thread for a single Filehost in the GH-Help-Center and asking for info/help in that specific filehost-Thread would be more helpful I guess.

I just tried this link and everything went smoothly. I just filled in the Captcha, waited till the counter went to zero and the download started instantly.

Congrats MariO you've succedded to dl 1 linkp; too bad that I'm not able to follow your "success" - still no way to dl from LF

At the end: not a big deal; just ban this host at GH and everything is fine

I just tested that same link (the first time I have ever used this host) and got through to the d/load ok... maybe it's a geographic/region issue? :thinking:

Congrats slimjim - the same happend to me: I was able to dl a single LF-file - what a wonderful success ; too bad that the following files did not work.

Maybe our Admins and/or Mods will give us an answer about the free download-options of crappy LUMFILE.

Ah, I see - so the first file is ok ... but after that is a problem.X_X

There is still a lot of confusion with the current hosts.
I think who SlimJim has right, about the problems who vary from region to region.
In my case, for example, I downloaded a movie with LF divided into 3 parts, with no problems.
With Extabit I can download only with Crome (my IE on operating system is xp and does not open the page correctly Extabit).
Today I not was able to download with RG, yesterday it worked almost well.
Asfile me download one file per day, and unfortunately there are uploader that divide Asf file into three, four or more parts, making the task problematic.
Yesterday and today I tried to download it with Cloudnes (new host for me), but my antivirus blocked me the page, because there was a threat of viruses.
So, it is not easy unravel this maze of difficulties.
As for my "status", the two hosts that work better and no problems, are DF and ZS. Ruyshare has always completed the download, although much more slowly than ZS and DF, still reliable.

I was d/l a webcam vid, and my antivirus warned me a couple times while on lumfile - is it not safe?
