Since so many people are so pre-occupied with totally free uploads and downloads, it appears that Mediafire has been carrying some nasty things...Many times I am prevented from downloading links from them by my virus and malware programs...
I just got done talking with a friend who said he had to do major malware removal after downloading some mediafire things...

Has anyone else had similar problems that others should be aware of?

I download from Mediafire all the time and never have a problem.
