Moments of madness!!

You ever just forget to do something? Or you do something that just doesn't make sense??

I'm sitting here thinking my dinner will be ready to eat in about 5 minutes. I go for a beer out of the fridge, and there sitting on the side is my dinner waiting to go into the oven!! It's only something quick & easy tonight to just stick in the oven - except it takes 40 minutes to cook!!

Damn I'm going to be hungry LOL

I'm sometimes like that too... There's once when I was going to go out and I need to bring something of my friends with me... I reminded myself to bring it out but the nxt min, I'm out of the house without my friend's things...

It always happen to me so i'm kind of use to it already...haha

Ive done pretty much the same thing... put a chicken to grill and then went to my room to chat with a friend on the phone.... hehe 40 minutes later, the kitchen was full of smoke and the fire alarms ringing... big oops!

I've done that before and one would think that these moments disappear with age. They don't. Though now, I've weaned myself from the habit of leaving the oven on.

I've gone on to more mundane things like leaving the keys inside my locked car and not realizing it until the car door was inches away from fully closing. I've also gotten into the habit of carrying my grocery bags with my right hand, which coincidentally is the same side where the pocket is that contains my house keys.

I've done that!! It was a while ago. Fell asleep after putting dinner in the oven and woke up to a real horrible smell of burning LOL

When I was quite young my parents told me to just warm up the chips (that's fries if you're American) up in the oven. We often had them for lunch on a Saturday from the chip shop. So that's exactly what I did - newspaper and all . They really were wrapped in newspaper a few years ago!!

It was a gas oven so you can guess the rest LOL

I don't know, but how bout getting up from watchin TV and going in to kitchen and completely forgetting what you went in for....sheesh i hate that!!!!

If you see what happened the last two weeks to GayHeaven (out of the ether) i think
for several hundreds of members this was a "moment of madness".
