My UK friends...

OK, this may sound a bit selfish and I apologize beforehand if it does... but I read in the paper today that there was a massive shooting in London. People were killed and wounded in the aftermath... and it got me a bit worried.

I have a few friends here on GH that live there and I just wanted to know... you guys are all OK, right?

My love, prayers and condolences go out to you right now and to the families and loved ones affected by this tragedy. :heart:

It wasn't in London it was in Cumbria which is the opposite end of the country to London but it is nice of you to show concern.

It wasn't in London Jonny... it was around the coastal towns of Whitehaven and Seascale in Cumbria, a county in the Nth West.

Details are still a little sketchy but it seems the guy had a big family feud over an inheritance.. the first people killed was his twin brother and family solicitor(lawyer) he then went to the taxicab firm he worked for and killed a co-worker... then it seems he drove around randomly shooting people, killing a further 9 and wounding 11 others before driving to a wood and killing himself

Thanks for the clarification, guys... I remember just reading "near London" and my heart just stopped for a moment because of all of the friendships I've made here on GH. I got a little scared.

Even though it wasn't, people do travel around and I just wanted to make sure you guys were alright... this has just been a crazy few days in the world, so I'm a little on edge.
