Need Help with Firefox ?

Hi Guys

I need some help here, does anyone know how to stop Firefox web browser from crashing? cause everyday when i search through Google for something, the browser crashes every 1 hour and a box pops up on my screen with a crash report that i can send to Mozilla, this is the second time its happened to me today, I'm on the latest version 25.0 using Windows 8.1 OS, I hope someone could help with me solve this cause its getting annoying~X(, Thank you very much in advance for helping me & have a great weekend :big hug:

Did you try to uninstall BitGuard ?

If Firefox crashes frequently, it may be due to BitGuard software installed on your computer.

Aww thanks haiducii:heart: for your Kind comment & letting me know what the problem could be, that's so nice and kind of you, thank you my friend :hug: i don't think i have that BitGuard software installed on my computer as i don't recall me installing it:thinking:, but I'll have a look through my entire windows operating system for it and then remove it if i find it, thank you once again for helping me & i hope you have a great day :big hug:

Although this site won't be of help if it's a glitch with Firefox but it has many Microsoft "fixes"

FireFox is quite stable, so if it keeps crashing it's probably for one of two reasons:
1) you've installed a buggy plugin - try disable all of them, then re-enable one by one until you find the crashy one
2) your install has gotten corrupted - you could try a fresh install

Option 1 is probably more likely.

Firefox may crash if you have too many tabs open at a time or if you haven't restarted it or your computer in a few days. Flash crashing may also cause it to crash. This might happen if you pause a youtube video for hours then hit play without first reloading the page. The culprit could also be unknowingly running too many javascripts simultaneously from internet ads, eg. having 20 ad heavy tabs open.

Try to restart firefox, your computer, or update plugins if any of these things are a possibility.
