So basically, if you wanted to share a play-through of a game, you'd normally do it through Justin.tv which frankly is an awful site that doesn't give a shit about it's users.
Now there's a new site, only 2 months old now, that I've been lurking on recently. Really great community, lends a lot of help to new streamers and is definitely head and shoulders above any other stream site I've seen.
Give them a look, they're generally busier in the US evening time, but they're a growing community and I'm sure it won't be long until there's a big crowd casting 24/7.

A couple streamers I definitely recommend catching when they're on.
Nerd Junkies - for game news round-ups every week, giveaways (they do a tonne every show) and general gaming fails.
Mistress Keo - hella entertaining caster ^^
