My first love, I've seen around plenty of times since we broke up; despite how nasty we were to each other in the final few hours we had no trouble becoming good friends. I'm no longer attracted to him as I once was but still remember a lot of our times together quite fondly. I don't miss those times but I did not want them to end either.

It takes so long afterwards for anyone to come close to making you feel so good but it's worth a wait. You also won't find anything more than an imitation of love in the spots where you're actually looking; love is usually found randomly when it's nowhere near being at the top of your mind.

Put away the old messages and run away from this guy as fast as possible. He is your past; someone else is ahead in your future. That's the direction you want to go. There are plenty of guys to have sex with who do NOT come with all the baggage of your ex-boyfriend. Don't drag yourself back into that pit. The best thing for your heart is to build a new life. Go out. See friends. Meet people.
