Number of posts and thanks

Hi Guys,

I wanted to ask about one thing. When I got my posts removed (the studio complained and was added to a banned studios list) I got demoted because the number of posts I sent felt dramatically. Also I was once again below 25 posts - the limit where you can ask for videos.

So my question is - will this always happen? If the links I post will be banned afterwards (I understand that posting something against the forum rules is penalized but I ask about another case) because e.g. a studio complains or host will be banned, the poster status will always be demoted?

That is not true.
In general I can say that your status does not directly depend on the number of posts.
Promotions and also demotions are done individually.


I've looked into your 'History' and from what I have seen you never had another status than Junior Member.

We don't demote someone if the posted content has not been banned at the time of posting but only might do that when things have been posted against forum rules and after having warned the specific member about that.

Sorry for being imprecise, I meant my rank connected with the number of posts fell from Fan to Amateur.
There are a few things on the forum that are related to the number of posts so I just thought I'd ask for clarification - this was not a complaint.
I understand the status (like VIP Member) is independent of the number of posts, but ranks (like Fan, Lover) are directly connected to the number of posts and can suddenly change if some of the posts were removed, am I right?

Yes, you are right.
The rank really is directly related to the number of counted posts.

It's unfortunate that in your case it did change your rank of course but look at the bright side.
You are close to the next step up soon and hopefully there is need to be any posts removed again.
