PC sign in

My notebook keeps on cutting out to sign in page if left for a few minutes.I have gone to Power option and set to cut out after 2 hours and applied.It is still working on with tasks but I have to keep signing in.Have I missed something basic or am I going Banana's?Any idea's guys?

In the power options you can also set it NOT to require a password when it wakes up.

UNLESS this is a Windows corporate laptop and your IT department has set a policy that overrides your choices.

Is this your home laptop, or is it set up to connect to your work network?

And to repeat Jamoo's question, what operating system and version are you working with?
