I came across this on YT and decided to post to see if the subject-matter will get a discussion going.









Enjoy and let us know what you think. My opinion is that a lot of people use and consume far more resources that they need to -insanely so. The sooner that changes the better.

Clearly an intelligent man with an important message.
It's a message nobody wants to listen to.
Politics has a horizon of the next election and no further, executive decisions are geared to maximising the next bonus payment, the average worker, struggling to pay his bills, can't plan much past his next pay cheque. The future is scary, let's not think about the long term. Look at level of interest here.
If the lecture was given by a hunky film star then they might prick up their ears, but since it is given by an academic without much charisma, no reaction.
