picture viewer for gifs?

Hey I recently upgraded to windows 7. In my old windows XP if I double clicked a pic it would open up this picture viewer, I could then press this arrow key to file through other pics in the same folder. If it came upon a giff it would automatically run it within the picture viewer.

But now in Win7 it has the media viewer but when it comes to a giff it only shows the first frame and I have to manually open each individual giff into a web-browser tab to play it. Very annoying when your want to look at a bunch of giffs in quick succession a the press of a button. You know....when your jerking off.

Does anyone know a picture viewer you could download that would solve this problem for me?

With the picture viewer itself it isn't possible anymore to solve this problem, as far as I know. It seems to be a security reasons to do this, but I don't know it exactly.

With "IrfanView" you can click through animated gifs again. You can find it here: http://refhide.com/?http://www.irfanview.com/
