Piggy Flu......

I live right next to a college campus...the kids are getting the H1N1 like crazy...several hundred cases now. Three have died the last 2 weeks alone. One last night was a girl only 22yo...she was only sick 3 days. so sad...
We get the vaccine next week...so I hope it works or its going to be bad around here....

Ha...i was just watching a "Everybody Loves Raymond" re-run from a couple of years ago....Marie made a joke...about Frank being sick with the "Swine Flu"

at least it's not as bad as the spaish flu of the 60's worce case 3% of the popualtion dies.... bear in mind 11% die from famine... wars etc

At least I am over it! Most cases are milder than normal seasonals flus. Normally only weakened persons (Asthmatics, people with auto-immune disease, elderly and obese people and people with other respiratory problems etc.) will get complications - normal severe respitory distress, bronchotis and pnemonia. But more than half of the deaths have been perfectly healthy younger persons under 40. I got it from some friends visiting from Illinois, which at the time had the most cases in the US. It took me 2 days to get over the virus and then I began coughing and develop really bad bronchitis. For a while it was so bad that I nearly had to be admitted to the hospital. But 3 times antibiotics, lots of steroids (Inhaled and tablets - prednisolone) adn broncho-dilating inhalers helped. I magine been sick for almost 8 weeks and even fear for your life becuase I sometimes felt unable to breathe and nearly fainted many times. I also lost 10 pounds and it is going to be month before I am back In shape again:

I went to WalMart today and I swear there was at least a dozen different displays selling hand sanitizer and medical face mask...

GOOD GOD! You will not believe what I have caught. I am now one of the many who have the damn piggy flu. First my damn roomate then moi. Seriously annoying. I've been stuck at home for two days now and I finally resurfaced from my horrid slumber. You have no idea how horny I am and how much I'm wanting to play myself like a fiddle. I woke up this morning with a hard on that wouldn't go away for an hour, I was staring at the clock. Finally, I gave in and I totally regretted it, I ended up completely gaunt through my rice porridge meal and ended up having a nightmare that caused me to sweat through my pjs and drench the towel I was sleeping on.
I'm better after sleeping and eating through the day and good grief I haven't passed the 100F today.
You know how they say comedy is the best medicine, I've been telling myself it's the oink oink flu and that the damn pneumonia was simply a desperate cry for some self happiness, God was I wrong.
I hit the Tamiflu ASAP and took antibiotics. I also ate cloves of raw garlic, and drank honey and water till I kind of gagged... Who knew being sick during a possible pandemic caused us to do things a little differently from the normal sick routine.

Dam, Explrrs, that sucks. I know how you feel though. I just got over the worst flu I ever had. I thought it might be the oink oink, but it wasn't. I was trying everything too. The worst part was not getting a morning bone or any bone at all...I thought I was gonna end up sterile X_X but finally back to normal . Talk about horny when the blood start flowing again .

Do take care of yourself and make sure you get proper care. Don;t fuck with the Oink. Its the younger folk thats most at risk. Feel better and get well soon

Sorry for those who got the oink flu.

Thankfully neither me or my mother have the oink flu and we were sick for a while. My momma's just getting better.
