Anyone heard of it? Anyone seen it? I have been informed that there's a movie so I have yet watch it.. But I did just watch the musical and I AM IN LOVE!!!!! IT WAS SOO GOOD!!! ANYONE SEEN OR PLAN ON SEEING IT?!?! EFFIN GREAT! :heart:

Hugo Weaving as drag queen is just fabulous ^^

Yeah the movie is awesome. I just saw it a few weeks ago. I enjoyed the comedy more the musical stuff though......I don't like musicals..sigh, but AWESOME movie. I'm basically watching a lot of movies not made in America this year.

The movie came out some years ago and is fab!! I haven't seen the stage show but heard good reports. I daresay it's a bit different but definitely search out the DVD, you'll love it

The movie it's a cult!
I think it was shot in the mid '90s. Hugo Weaving in drag as Mitzy is truly fabulous... the only problem it's that I wasn't unable to watch the beginning of Matrix without cracking up (picturing the evil Agent Smith in green glitter singing "I will Survive").
Terence Stamp (Chancellor Valorum in "Star Wars ep. 1 but also General Zod in Superman 2) as Bernadette is a class act, delivering some of the best lines in the movie.
Finally, Hugo Weaving as Felicia is both fabulous and incredbly hot (it helps than when not in drag he's wearing very little...)

It's funny how I was just thinking of painting my front porch and the first color I thought of was It's Lavender and now I can't stop thinking about this movie! It really is a great movie with a wonderful cast.
