Problem downloading with mipony

I have been using mipony to download files for a few years. I am using mipony v2.2.4 as Norton will not allow me to update to a later version because of virus alerts.

For the past two days, all mipony downloads have been slowed down to a crawl, taking multipe days to download all files. Does anyone have any suggestions to fix this problem, or can anyone recommend a different download program? I am using Windows 7.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I am happy to report that I was able to download a new version of mipony and am now able to download multiple flies again!

It appears that the ownership of this program may have recently been transferred, as the download did not trigger my Norton 360 at all and the interface on the download looks different. However, the program itself has the same appearance.

I was able to tweak the download speed so it seems to be working as well as it did before. HOORAY!!!
