Problem with Oron

Does anyone have any experience of Oron's download limits?

I got 90% of the way through downloading an 1800MB movie (available nowhere else except Oron) but the last part (200megs) won't budge. Oron first told me I'd reached my download limit of 3000megs and then - without downloading anything because I couldn't - that figure mysteriously crept up to 5000megs.

No indication whether this limit will re-set or how long the re-set might take so I can grab that last part of the movie. Can anyone help?

I avoided Oron because of the bad mouthing it got. Now I can see why people hate it so much.

I'm a free user and had a similar issue a few days ago... I got a message telling me I had reached the max. d/load of 5000mg.. but it mentioned that this was over a 3 day period.. so I guess in a day or so I will be able to d/load again.. but still with the ridiculous 5 to 11 hr. waiting times~X(~X(

I saw the '3-day limit' thing but it doesn't say how long it takes to re-set itself. I assumed it was 3 days too. But Oron has blocked my IP for well over a week.

Never again will I go anywhere near any post which uses Oron.

I have a similar issue with Filesonic... it has given me an error message for the last 5 days saying I cannot d/load because I already am d/loading~X(~X(~X(

Try to search for the Oron cookies and delete it, also restart your modem/router to refresh your ip if you have a dynamic ip

Tried that thanks.. with no joy.

It works for me every time for Oron but its pretty much useless anyway since the free d/l is extremely slow.
