Problem with wupload

Hi every time i try to download from wupload as a free user i click slow download, but instead of seing the captcha i get ?start=1 in the adress bar and never get to download the files, i haven't change my settings or anything and a couple of months ago i downloaded just fine. Can you help?

Clear your browser cache that should do the trick

I use the NoScript plugin to block JavaScript, and when I have it set not to allow wpupload to run JS I get the exact symptoms described, but once I enalbed JS for that domain it worked perfectly.

Ahhh make sense... JS issue... I have too many computers doing different things I can't no longer think straight about troubleshooting LOL. Listen to GB dude LOL

Try GB trick then... it really seems to be a Java Script error, when something comes up as start+1 it's the script asking whether you have JS on or off

Lets start with some basic trouble shooting:

1) what browser are you using? (and what version)
2) what plugins, if any do you have installed?
3) are you using proxies or VPNs or anything funny to access the net?

GB: i checked what you wrote but from what i understood the solution is for firefox, i'm using ie 7, i have java installed, and not using proxies or vpns.

Should i switch to firefox, is it a more friendly program?

Just about any browser is safer than IE - you'd do yourself no harm to try Chrome of FireFox, but I can't promise it will solve your problem.

Since you have been using IE, can I ask if you have up-to-date anti-virus installed, and if so, if you have recently run a full scan of your system?

I tried Wupload a couple of times. The downloads were going so slow that I gave up on them each time. If something doesn't work well, I look for something else to download.

Are there basic instructions on how to upload files somewhere? Sometimes I get a message saying I don't have enough posts or something to do anything here.

I have ESET, and it's working fine, i'll try another browser then.
