hel0 guys can i ask ur opinion about psp g0 nd psp 3000. I was planning to buy psp but i still dont know what model will i buy. The psp 3000 that has only 36 mg memory which really bothers me nd the umd disk are t00 much expensive but it has larger screen while the PSP go has a smaller screen but it has 16 gb memory and im also thinking about maybe downloading games from the net will be difficult to do but i guess its much practical than buying umd disks.. What should i buy?? tnx to those will help me to decide...

Well with the announcement of PS Vita, the successor to the PSP, it may be worthwhile to wait until the holiday season when it is projected to come out (in America and Japan) for 249 for a wi-fi model. The Vita is backwards compatible with all of the PSP downloaded games from the playstation network.

If you absolutely need a PSP now, I would say get the 3000. Although the UMD, sucks battery life like the plague, you seem like you aren't going to use the UMD. Plus the 3000 is MSRP for 129.99 USD while the PSPgo is 199.99 USD although I've seen it online for 169.99 USD

Dude, PSP GO is a waste of money and time. PSP GO games are ALL download only, so what happens when you buy and download a game and find out you absolutely hate it? You're stuck with it FOREVER with no return of money for a crappy game. PSP 3000, or older versions, you use the actual UMD games and if you find out you absolutely HATE a game you bought, physically bought btw, you can return/trade it for something else. I say go with the PSP 3000, but that's my opinion. ;)

Well, aside from the restriction to downloadable games, the PSP GO also suffers from being extremely compact, making it difficult for people with large hands to play easily. From the previews I have seen, the Vita addresses this issue.

Also, keep in mind that the new Vita games will be chips rather than UMD, so any non-downloadable games that you purchase will not work on the new system.

I did not know about VITA games being a chip, or even like the size of a DS game possibly. Hhhmmmm........I will wait to see how it pans out first before I think about buying it, and also what games will be coming out for it.
