The Sword: Hi Jadyn. I think the main question everyone has is what made you jump from music to porn? Did you always want to be a porn star?
Jadyn Daniels: I have always been a very sexual human being. It wasn’t until after the Idol experience that I really grew into the person I am today. I was only 19 and fresh out of high school on Idol, and from a small town. Since the show, I’ve moved around a lot and have had a lot of social growth. So, I did porn because I’ve always wanted to, and why not?! I live my life for one person and one person only, and that’s myself. At the end of the day, you have to be happy with your life and do what makes you happy.
Which studios and co-stars have you filmed with so far? What can we look forward to in the future?
So far I’ve only shot two scenes. One was with ExtraBigDicks.com which I shot with the adorable Joey cooper, and the other one was with Men’s DrillMyHole.com with another newbie to the industry, Travis Freeman. I want to use porn to experiment with my fantasies. I think Raging Stallion or Men Over 30 would be fun, too. Were you worried about being exposed due to your obvious American Idol past? Do friends and family know?
I think everyone is a little apprehensive to have a camera in their face videotaping them and blasting it all over the world for people to critique and watch, but after I thought about my decision, I knew it was something I didn’t regret. Like I said, I’m a very sexual human being and being able to convey that through the adult industry has been fun and exciting thus far. My friends and family now know what’s going on and I haven’t really had any type of negative reaction. I’m an adult and am able to make my own decisions.
Do you have a boyfriend now? What kind of guys do you like?
I do have a boyfriend; his name is Jayson and he is an amazing person. I don’t necessarily have a type of guy. For me it’s about personality. Yes, abs and cock size are a plus, but it should be more about the personal connection, not the physical.
You’ve changed a lot from your Idol days and gotten really hot. What would you say are your most attractive features?
I’ve lost a lot of weight since idol. When I was on the show I gained over 45 lbs just from stress-eating and not working out. I’m happy with my appearance now and embrace my not so perfect physique. I’d say my most attractive feature to me would be my personality. On both Idol and in most porn you don’t ever get a well-rounded view as to who a person is—you simply get an edited version of what sells. In person I am a lot more complex than people perceive.

After Idol I wanted to move to Los Angeles and try and make it as an artist, but the goal now is not to be “famous” in music. I want to share my talent with people on a more intimate level than you would get with stardom. I like doing coffee house type shows. Me and a guitar with some dim lighting and just singing from the soul. Music is in fact my stress reliever, and I enjoy creating a laid back atmosphere for people to enjoy.

What would you like your fans to know before I let you go? What about people who don’t agree with your career move?
To any fans I have I’d say thanks for being as open minded as I am. To anyone else who has an opinion I’d say this: When I look back on my life I don’t want to see what I didn’t or shouldn’t have done hindering my chances of happiness. I want to live a life full of laughter and good times. If my life choices bother you, then that is fine. You are allowed to your opinion as well as I am allowed mine.
