The singer, who is originally from London, has said he is half-Scottish and loves spending time north of the border
X Factor heartthrob Sam Callahan went a bit too far in trying to show his credentials as a true Scot – by stripping off in a chilly park with just a hat to protect his modesty.
The 19-year-old London singer, who says he regards himself as half-Scottish, has been living north of the Border for the last 18 months.
Sam has been gigging around Scotland after working with his manager John McLaughlin, the hitmaker behind bands like Busted, 911 and Supanova.
And he has filmed two pop videos in Glasgow – one by the Clyde for his song Runaway Train and the other in Kelvingrove Park for Crazy.
He told the Daily Record: “I like to think of myself as half-Scottish. I spent the last year or so of my life travelling up and down to Scotland and I have my Scottish ancestry.”
