Rapidgator problem

I've been experiencing the following issue with Rapidgator for a while now. It's becoming increasingly common. I use the 'slow speed download' option. When I click it and wait for the link to pop up it just brings me back to the start (as if I had never hit 'slow speed download' at all.) Is this happening to anyone else? Is it an issue with Rapidgator or on my end? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I had the same problem with four different clips - one I found on another host. The latest I was just able to download yesterday and it had been posted on 24-Jan, I think the other two took a similar amount of time before it would let me go through with the download as well - not sure why though.

I think I may have found a solution. At least it works for me.

I click the link and try to download the file normally. If I get caught in the loop of eternal download page I try this:

Copy the address in the browser address bar then paste it to a notepad then erase everything in the address after the '.html' then copy the remaining portion of the address then open a new tab and paste that into the address bar and click enter then click 'slow download' and voila - it works!

I hope by sharing this trick I haven't screwed myself and now Rapidgator will patch the glitch that allows it, hehe.

Ok - I know I already have a response in this thread and I have thanked Sniffit for his suggested solution but I had not had the chance to try it out - RG had been skipping the captcha step in the recent postings. Anyway, I had one today that was in the download loop and I tried Sniffit's method - and it worked. Thanks again
