It's your own responsability recording webcam broadcasts, but I think this is a bad act. I am not into capturing and recording people from webcams showing the face and the sexual acts of people who have not given permission for its publication or posting in any forum. People could even use such material to blackmail.
On some sites I cam solely for sex and have safe chat rooms I use for the purpose. I was banned from Camroulette last week for sitting fully clothed in front of a webcam but just showing from the neck down - nothing more and no chat whatsoever - I was on for less than ten seconds total. My first try of the site with no chance to gauge the activity. Some (unknown to me) user decided that even this was against their personal taste and hit the 'report' button. Thankfully I was fully clothed and not showing anything that could be ever used against me - even my user name was non-suggestive.
I have been told that certain users make it their work to report 'offensive' cammers, and that they will take screenshots or recordings and pass them on the Internet Watch type sites.
Consequently I'm against recording of webcam shows as the offence of 'inciting gross indecency' or indeed 'gross indecency' itself also applies to webcams, and if the person to whom you're showing your pride and joy then decides to be vindictive and report you, you're well and truly sunk as they have clear evidence...
There has to be a measure of trust on these sites. I was once recorded by a local male with whom I met for sex; he didn't tell me, but there was a large television on the wall with presumably some sort of recording equipment running. I found out by accident when his profile showed a shot of him on his bed with another guy taken from that particular angle. He admitted recording the occasional meet for his own use afterwards.
There's a fine line between personal gratification and blackmail, both in real life and on cam. If you cam, you run the risk of being recorded and sent all over the net.
Be careful, guys!
