I know it's been discussed on here already but I was amazed today!

I'm an aethiest, as I've mentioned before, but I had the MOST sensible conversation I've ever had with 2 devout Christians.

No preaching, just a great conversation about life in general. I agree with their view, it didn't make me want to go back and become religious again. It did make me realise, though, that religion can be discussed by those who believe without being prejudiced on either side.

It's called programming, all systems, everywhere require codes, lists of instructions in order to function, superstition it seems is the ONE code humans have evolved to make sense of a disturbing abstract existence. My question is and has always been, why would a superbeing of such immense power, that lives forever, knows everything, created the entire universe both visible and unobservable, have any interest in a small unremarkable planet at the edge of a tiny galaxy within a cluster of local galaxies in an Infinite universe, and the relatively new species of talking apes that just happen to be there, for the time being, 4.5 billion years after the planet was actually formed. We all search for meaning, for purpose, but the answer does not lie in Gods and Devils, It lies in each other. Perhaps one day people will evolve further to value all life for what it is. The most precious thing. I am an atheist, and proud of it I'm also gay. Remember, I'm not your enemy, and the things that unite us are far stronger than the things that divide us

It pretty much says anything I'd say & did say!

My point, though, was that I could actually talk sensibly & rationally with these people without any animosity at all on either side.

They were great, and they accepted it was their belief.

What I was getting at was that it can sometimes be discussed in a fun way, without any hatred.

I accept all beliefs, if it makes people feel better for themselves. Too talk rationally. though, with a couple of very fun & religious people ABOUT their belifs is , to me, unusual.

Im sure he exists.

Bcoz my mom always pray to him,
and most of her prayer are answered.
When im in trouble , i give her a call.
and ask her to pray for me,
And she always says " I never stop praying for you dear, everyday I pray for U"
after i called her, I always feel confident that my problem would go away.
And it always did.

I love my mom so much.
I feel sorry for her, having a son like me.

There are so many people in this world, like you Sweet, who feel guilty about what is natural because of the political indoctrinations of an establishment that wants to force their ideology on you.

It makes me very angry that a "movement" that preaches love can make people feel so bad!

Though I am not a christian, I read bible many times. It was no where mentioned about this (being gay) and sayin sin. I believe it is not gay or straight will decide heaven or hell, it is the one decide is ur humanity, character, attitude etc towards other people. I m sure u will be in heaven sweet.

and the world we can never think by our logic

They also forbid us to imagine how God looks like and questioned god existence,

Religion is what The prophets inherit to us.
