Reminder - Keep your home first aid kit well stocked!

Not a big deal, but I had a bit of a fall from my bike on my way home from work today. I think the biggest dent was to my pride But, I did also graze one leg and cut one knee quite badly.

No biggie - since I'm almost home I'll just clean out the cuts and grazes and bandage them up. Two problems with that - firstly, all I had in the house were plasters, nothing big enough to cover a whole kneecap that was bleeding, and secondly, no antiseptic to wash it out with - do'h!

Thankfully I have good neighbours so I got some disinfectant and a dressing. All cleaned up, and feeling much better, but I am going to make sure I have the first aid essentials in the house from now on!

Mmmmm good call. Never really thought to have anything like that in the house .

Next time Im out I will have to get a few things in

Thanks folks - the bike seems fine - not tried to cycle it yet but there's nothing obviously wrong.
