Pierre Loutrel aka "Pierrot le Fou" died accidentaly after a jewelry store attack shoting himself a bullet with his own gun in november1946.
After him a lot of gangsters imitated him and realized some spectacular hold-up allways with the help of a traction for fleeing as quickly as possible. At this time there was barely no cars in the streets.
