XXX Pictures Rudolf Nureyev

This composition I made special for Lui.
I found a tiny black and white picture of Rudolf Nureyev, the world famous Russian ballet dancer. He was gay and not ashamed of it. Tragically he was one of the first celebrities who died of aids. I pimped the photo and colored it as old fashioned photographers did in old times. Then I added an old picture of the Bolshoi ballet. Finally I added his signature.
Lui I do hope you find in it a little compensation for . . . you know.

Very nice. He was THE star of a generation.

Rudy was so ahead of his time and multi-talented. In his later years, as artistic director of Paris Opera Ballet, he helped transform the company into, arguably, the greatest ballet company in the world.
