Slow Loading

Hi Guys

Is anyone experiencing slow loading pages on the forum or is it just me? The reason why I ask is because everyday at a certain time I cannot open any post threads or post anything at all :hug: I even struggled to get to this section to write this post as well

Never mind, changed my ISP default DNS server to Google's one and now its super fast speed.

btw, is Google DNS safe to use or should i change it? The reason why i ask is because I'm worried that Google has my GH login since i read that they keep our Ip address ( for 24hrs ) and store our IsP and location information on there servers permanently, thank you very much in advance for the advice and helping me with this :hug:

Yes - DNS is just a lookup directory; like looking up someone's phone number in a directory. The actual digital bits that flow when you login go through your ISP. DNS just tells them where the destination is located. Nothing goes through Google when you login or browse a web site.

... unless you login with a Google account (like GMail) and never log out. If you do that then you are agreeing to tell Google every site you visit.

... but that has nothing to do with the choice of DNS server.
