Sound synchronisation in clips

Hi

A clip can sometimes have a sound synchronisation problem - that is, lip movements dont' happen at the same time as the sound, for example.

Is there any quick way to fix this, or do you need to get special software? If so, what do you recommend? Any free ones?

(Must be easy to use, naturally.)

What is the format of the clip e.g. AVI

There are some paid software that allow manually editing of audio and video, but I'm not sure it's quick. I don't know if there is any free and quick synchronisator.

Usually I use either virtualdubmod or Virtualmod, which are free. You then have to save the audio as a wave file then re-compress and convert it with the clip. It is easy if it is the whole clip, but not so if it is part. Plus you have to have the correct encoders on the system.
