Streming Videos and iPad

I am using an iPad 2.
When I go to the streaming video threads, the video previews aren't showing which means I cannot view any of the streaming videos.
They work on PC and also on my iMac.
Is this a flash issue?
Does anyone know of a workaround or is it a case of me not using the iPad to view the videos (Which would be a real shame)
Thanks in advance.

The embed code people use is probably Flash, but, that doesn't mean the site itself does not support HTML5 video. You might try clicking on the videos to view them on the actual site hosting them. It probably won't be the case that all sites support HTML5, but I'm sure some or more of them will.
