targetted searches

I recently watched and enjoyed a selection of shorts grouped together under the title "Boys On Film 12."

Obviously, this is a series with many more potentially available on this board.

When I do a search with quotes around "Boys on Film" however, the search doesn't really look for the phrase in quotes (as I have found searches usually do) but instead looks for the words "boys" and "film" (omitting the "on".) As such I get all kinds of hits (imagine how many hits there are for "boys") but not much for the actuall title Boys of Film. There also doesn't seem to be anything under the advanced search engine that will allow for an "exact phrase" search.

If I don't use quotes how can I make the search more targetted?

When you hit the search button drop down to "advance search".....In the search box put in boys+film ... you can further filter by going to the Search in Forum(s) section and scroll down to [/B]"Gay themed Movies"

You will still end up with some unwanted hits .... but at least you only have 77 hits to deal with with this filtering.

btw the search returns 2 for Boys Briefs, which are similar to the Boys on Film series

Have you tried seaching like this, it might work?:

Boys+On+Film

Note - Don't add the 12, sometimes people write no. 12, or #12... and so on.

The search has a minimum character requirement of 3 so it would ignore the On or 12
