Just I've read a sentence which is so true: JE SUIS SICK OF THIS SHIT!
When it will end. I can't hear anymore the soothing words of our politicians. They have to act NOW! - If not there will be another places like Paris, Brussels or now Nice.
They ARE acting.
France has had armed military polcie on the streets for months!
France, Britain, America, and others are at war with ISIS on their home territory.
The thing is, terrorists can hit soft targets, even in totalitarian states. The only way to stop these kinds of attacks being possible is for all of us to stop living our lives, give up all our liberties, and accept a police state.
That's too high a price.
We need to do our best to defeat ISIS in Iraq and Syria.
We need to make sure there is as much cooperation between our police forces as possible. That very much includes forces in Muslim nations.
But, we should not give up the freedoms we hold so dear.
I've been through shit like this in Northern Ireland. No matter what our govenments do, the terrorists will get lucky again in the future. As the IRA gloated to Margaret Thatcher "the police have to get lucky every day, we only have to get lucky once".
Expecting the government to make attacks on soft targets impossible is like demanding a cure to all cancer by 5pm tomorrow. It would make the world a much better place, but you are asking for the impossible!
