Help me someone, I don't what happened. I have tried to burn my files to dvd, but my program shuts down. It says the device is busy. Also I noticed that my external hard drive now has a new drive location.. it was drive f, but it is now drive h which I did not have before. I now have drives that I didn't before. What can I do?

First, I would run an antivirus check on it. I had that happen about a year ago, and a virus had done some funky stuff comparable to what you seem to be experiencing. If you are on a PC, you might also want to see what resources are being used.

One thing that occasionally happens is the interference by new software or software conflicting with another. Depending on how good you are with computers, if you go to Start, click Run, and then type in "msconfig", in the Startup and Services folders, remove the check marks of the programs that look suspicious and are not Microsoft certified. Some adware along with other programs automatically add programs in the background that tie up resources.

Hey there jim..You probably already have anti-virus and anti-ad &malware but if not these two are what I use :

AVAST.....it's a FREE anti-virus, automatically updates itself (& tells you when it's done it), and runs active in the background giving you alerts if it finds anything , and you can set it to run scans, either deep & thorough or quick standard too. I also use Ad-Aware, FREE Anti-spy Malware protection..you have to update this and run scans yourself..it doesn't do it automaticaly..get it here:
