The history of GayHeaven.

Dear friends sometimes I wonder how our wonderful site with many
engaging forums is established.
Once there have been some guys who got the idea to establish GayHeaven
who are they .... our admins?
When the idea arose, the farthest I've seen a member of 2008 (our beloved "Marschal") but the site is still so young or is it already?
Calling those who were there from the beginning: who are you
and how did you start, how did you find the "hierarchies" idea etc..
Can that be communicated?
I look forward to an answer full of curiosity as to the history of GayHeaven to know.

Well if you go to the Community button on the blue bar above, then on the drop down menu go to "members list" and that will bring up the list in alphabetical order...if you click on column heading "Join Date" it will re-sort on that and you will find gayboyporn was the 1st member on 28th Sept 2008.... if you click on "Posts" it will re-sort by that.:thumbs up:

The original founder has now gone, the current staff are just volunteers who keep things in order, we're not the brains behind it

If you look down the bottom you'll notice we're part of the Planet Suzy network , the other forums are all straight.

Honestly, how many active users still remember the blog? I discovered GH thanks to it...

I'll go a little more detailed and deeper into history...

Radix aka. "gayboyporn" was a blogger and also a moderator at one of Planet Suzie's other forums where he met Lord Vader, who was also a moderator.

Both being Bi but leaning more towards gay, Radix decided to open a gay forum of his own and asked for help from Lord Vader.

Fast forward a couple of years and the forum had grown considerably. But Radix and Lord Vader had a difference of opinion on which direction the forum would go. Radix wanted continued growth and Lord Vader wanted to keep it smaller and more intimate.

So Vader went his own way while Radix enlisted the help of others to continue. But then the forum grew to the point that Radix could no longer control the beast.

So Radix called up his friend at Planet Suzi, who had been considering including a gay group in their growing network, and made a deal for Planet Suzie to take over operation of the forum...

I was around back during the original blog.That was many years ago. I joined in October of 2008 and have seen many changes and many people come and go.

Yes I was around for the original blog, but took a while to join here, only when the blog went off-line. Several alias's later and a departure in the middle I am still here. Like Josh says have seen members come and go, some you miss, some you don't.

gayboyporn blog started it all, i checked it everyday. Then they started this one. Radix is awesome i still have alot of porn from him. I used to post alot on here too, but my posts probly werent as good (Latino twink fetish). i jump on often to check things out. When it started getting huge it would shut down from server issues. It even had a blog list that members could add or delete that we could enjoy.

Thank you to all the "oldies" It's very interesting to know sommeting about the "History of GayHeaven" as newly born.
Once again a topic of him that i had like better to know...a"disappeared" friend.
It occurs to me that many are already gone, even the founders, pity.

GayBoyPorn was great. It was like the Wild West in a lot of ways. A good amount of drama mixed with a sense of belonging to something new and special. Even the name "GayBoyPorn" was special, to me at least.
