The servers are being worked on by the tech staff, the to busy message is being received by every visiting member, including the staff. ~X(

When the work is done, soon hopefully, we can all get back to a normal visit to GH.

No on is being picked on pinklee1 :rofl: instead we are all in the same boat.

The reason that not many people are getting involved in this thread is that it is in an out of the way section, 'one not normally on the road most taken', when visiting a porn forum.

If you were to start a thread in discussions about this topic it would very quickly be one of the most visited threads on the forum. :cheers:

Unavoidable?

Hi Kev,

The message occurs when too many users try to login/access the forum at the same time.
Its unavoidable since this forum is too popular and the server cannot support such overwhelming support of this amazing website.

Only recourse is to login at another time/other times of the day.

This happens at *all* times of the day and night, and it just started happening a few weeks ago. Maybe an effort to investigate/solve the problem would be more helpful than trying to explain it away.

It is being investigated by the tech team, however the tech team is not dedicated to this forum so it may take some time.

We all started out as junior members, for the most part our junior members are our most active members :big hug:

Everything we, the staff, do takes into account the safety and well being of all of our membership.

For about the last month, I too have been encountering the "server too busy" message. Now and then, pages on GH load slowly too. I'll look forward to any expansion of server capacity when and if it happens.

Right now there are 885 persons online. Of these 560 are guests and 325 are members. Of those only a handful of people visits those social threads in question. So I hardly doubt that those threads affect the server in any way. This is not just a tradingplace for people, who visit this forum as a kind of moneymaking job. So let's keep the perspective here.

Anyways I rarely share videos and I'm an SVIP. I spend most of my time in the discussion sections. I like the fact that Gayheaven rewards people not only for the videos they share but also for the additions they make to those discussion sections. The forum is growing in size and popularity which is causing the busy servers. I think we should be grateful for the ad free site and the free sign up. People here work very hard to keep this place a float. I think a busy server from time to time is a small price to pay for such a great place.

I just wanna comment on this real quick. I hardly ever post any videos mostly because a lot of the videos I get are from here and I hate to repost the same thing. Anyways I rarely share videos and I'm an SVIP. I spend most of my time in the discussion sections. I like the fact that Gayheaven rewards people not only for the videos they share but also for the additions they make to those discussion sections. The forum is growing in size and popularity which is causing the busy servers. I think we should be grateful for the ad free site and the free sign up. I think that most people would agree that ignoring this problem is not a solution. it is not about being patient or not being patient. every day for the last week my opening page is the "busy" banner. I have to assume that many others are receiving this on their opening page as well. that includes new people who are just exploring GH.
and yes...i am paranoid. that still does nothing to solve the problem. this is my last post on this subject. good luck to all of you. and i do thank all the staff at GH for a job well done and an outstanding web site. you have a lot to be proud about. :thumbs up::cheers:

Those who have followed my posts on the forum, knows that they are often very critical (trying to be in a constructive way) and if I have something to say, I have never hesitated to write it.
This has brought me a few times in discussions a little heated, but always with respect for others.

Dear pinklee1, despite the difficulties of the moment, I can say in all honesty that I am very proud to be part of this forum. Here I found many friends, someone is lost on the road, but it was nice to walk along with them. I wish this road, although tortuous, take me to meet new friends, in spite of everything.

Obviously I hope that things improve and be able to navigate in the forum with no surprises, but do not forget not even that this site and free for all.
