just watched movie--the shack just to make parents happy--I cant stand religion and this movie even makes me stand it even less--these people posing as god jesus and trying to convince this guy the anger he has inside himself for the loss of his daughter isnt toward gd but toward evil itself--that god does no wrong

even in the bible god is quoted numerous times killing people if a flood wiping out all those except noah and two of each lifeform...two bears two cats and so on..thousands were killed by god over a 40 days 40 nights of rain until the great flood comes along--



god created the heavens and the earth--satan was a rebel angel sent to place called hell that god created--




its ok to believe in religion but dont act like your god isnt to blame for anything bad--what do you guys think about it---you ever seen the shack yet?

I had some friends from where I worked before I retired who bought me the movie, they thought it was so wonderful but I have been leery to watch it. Thanks for the heads up, I know not to watch it for sure now.

I don't need to actualy poke my eyes out to know that I don't enjoy poking my eyes out. I have heard enough about this movie from people whose opinions I can rely on to know that this is the sort of emotional exploitation by numbers that is an insult to anyone who has read the bible, whether they have faith or not.
If you prefer instant curry mix to a meal in an Indian restaraunt.
If you'd rather listen to Laurence Welk than The Berliner Philharmoniker.
If you choose breathing air freshener instead of fresh air.
Then this is the movie for you. No thank you.
