Well having been to Dakar in Senegal (West Africa) and having to use my terrible French it got me thinking, and it's not just Senegal - French is an official language or shares official status with other languages, in Equatorial Guinea, Togo, Central African Republic, Madagascar, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Niger, Benin, Burundi, Guinea, Chad, Rwanda, Congo, Mali, the Seychelles, and Djibouti.

The Wild Wild West began when I was twelve years old. It was my favorite show.
I was crazy for James West, played by Robert Conrad. He always wore tight western suits that showed off his amazing ass.

Bhekizizwe Joseph Siphatimandla Mxoveni Mshengu Bigboy Shabalala, was the founder and musical director of the South African choral group Ladysmith Black Mambazo. They achieved global recognition after being recruited to sing on Paul Simon's multi-million-selling Graceland album, most notably on Homeless, a song Shabalala co-wrote with Simon, based on the melody for a traditional Zulu wedding song.

It's sad, sad news that the great, great musician, singer and choir leader Joseph Shabalala has passed away, but I'm also very grateful that Jimmy made this post!!!

It's impossible for me to forget the moment in the 1980s when I listened to Paul Simon's new album Graceland, and heard "Homeless" with Ladysmith Black Mambazo for the first time - it was a revelation! WOW!!!

I remember almost all my university student friends bought their own copy of Graceland, listening to "Homeless" againandagainandagainandagain...
